All veterinary biological products marketed and sold in the United States (U.S.) must have a Veterinary Biologics Product Permit if imported into the U.S. The USDA-CVB is the regulatory authority in the U.S. for veterinary biologicals and diagnostics; FDA does not regulate these products. There are numerous pre- and post-permitting regulations that apply to all products. The permitting process can be a complex and daunting process. One of the major obstacles for foreign manufacturers is the requirement for a U.S.-based company to act as a Permittee. VBPS, LLC, serves that purpose. With the manufacturer's input, VBPS, LLC, will facilitate foreign-manufactured biological products through the permitting process in the most efficient, legal, and ethical manner possible within the confines of Federal regulations.
